So Centralnic Acquired Gb.com

Remember the problems with gb.com a few weeks ago?

It looks like Centralnic have finally acquired the domain name fully. Whether money changed hands or the change is due to legal / economic pressure on the previous holder is not apparent.

The current whois reads as:

Registrant:
CentralNic Ltd
35-39 Moorgate
London EC2R 6AR
GB

Domain Name: GB.COM

Administrative Contact, Technical Contact:
Administrator, Domain        domains@centralnic.com

Domain servers in listed order:

NS1.CENTRALNIC.NET           213.146.149.134
NS2.CENTRALNIC.NET           72.3.240.16
NS3.CENTRALNIC.NET           62.197.40.234
NS4.CENTRALNIC.NET           194.169.218.16
NS5.CENTRALNIC.NET           194.169.218.17
NS6.CENTRALNIC.NET           194.0.2.2
NS7.CENTRALNIC.NET           193.105.170.169
NS8.CENTRALNIC.NET           64.131.83.34

That’s a relatively recent change. It used to be:

Registrant: GB.com Ltd 17 Hertford Avenue Richmond, London SW14 8EF UK Domain Name: GB.COM Administrative Contact, Technical Contact: Dyer, Stephen steve@enovi.com GB.com Ltd 17 Hertford Avenue London, London SW14 8EF UK +44-0-1903-784394 Record expires on 15-Sep-2018. Record created on 16-Sep-1998. Domain servers in listed order: NS1.CENTRALNIC.NET 213.146.149.134 NS2.CENTRALNIC.NET 72.3.240.16 NS3.CENTRALNIC.NET 62.197.40.234 NS4.CENTRALNIC.NET 194.169.218.16 NS5.CENTRALNIC.NET 194.169.218.17 NS6.CENTRALNIC.NET 194.0.2.2 NS7.CENTRALNIC.NET 193.105.170.169 NS8.CENTRALNIC.NET 64.131.83.34

So Steve Dyer and GB.com Ltd are no longer associated with the domain ..

So unless Centralnic themselves have issues there shouldn’t be any problems with gb.com again ..
