I wasn’t sure who was going to be happy about the new RAA docs that were published last night. I guess I now have the answer – Telesign.
Telesign have been trying to get “in” with registrars over the last couple of years but their sales tactics are quite lacking.

I notice I am the first to post a comment on your blog. It kind of makes me wonder if others don’t share you sentiments. I’ll tell you, I too received the email, as well as I know a lot of people are not very happy about these new regulations, and I have my own concerns. But the truth is, this has been something we have been tossing around doing long before the idea of it being enforced. I kind of like the idea of someone out there offering solutions and helping us to understand how to quickly comply with the new regulations.
You say they are taking advantage of these new regulations, but look at all the fraudsters who are taking advantage of the fact that they did not have to verify themselves. And who grabbing account information because the URL looks similar and the graphics look similar to a site they have used and seen before.
