The Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH) was created specifically to address concerns voiced by IP rights holders in relation to the new TLD program. It’s not the most popular or successful facet of the new TLD program in many people’s minds. According to the most recent statistics from the Trademark Clearinghouse less than 40 thousand marks have been registered with them. That’s a tiny number.
So why not let ICANN know what you think about it?
ICANN has contracted Analysis Group to carry out an “independent review” of the TMCH and they have now launched a questionnaire. It’s a Word document for some bizarre reason, even though it would probably have been as easy if not easier to use an online tool to create the survey.. You can read more about the survey here and download the Word file with the questions.
They’re looking for responses by April 15th, which in ICANN terms is a pretty short timeframe.
