Nominet has announced the results of their recent board election. This year there were two seats open for non-executive directors who are elected by Nominet members.

James Bladel from GoDaddy and David Thornton have both been elected to the board. For Thornton this will be his second term, whereas for Bladel this will be his first term. As usual the turnout for the election was very low, with only just over 10% of Nominet members casting a vote. A mere 242 members out of 2394 voted.

Nominet will be holding its AGM tomorrow in London.
