RIPE NCC Board Elections

RIPE NCC’s board elections will be held during the next RIPE meeting, which is scheduled for May.

There will be two positions on the NCC’s board up for grabs this time round.

You can read more about the roles here.

Here’s the timeline for the election:

14 February – Invitation to register for GM and voting
14 February – Call for nominations to RIPE NCC Executive Board
10 April – GM documents published, including the Annual Report 2018 andFinancial Report 2018
1 May – Close nominations for Executive Board elections
8 May – Deadline for proxy vote nominations
8 May – Deadline for members to propose resolutions
8 May – Final GM agenda published
22 May – Close registration for electronic voting (16:00 UTC)
22 May – GM begins with main meeting (18:00 UTC)
24 May – GM closes with voting results announcement (10:45 UTC)

You don’t need to be associated with a RIPE member to be elected to the NCC board, though obviously you’d need the support of members to actually get elected.
