LINX, the London Internet Exchange, is one of the largest Internet exchanges in the world. For the past 18 years John Souter has served as the organisation’s CEO, but he will be retiring towards the end of 2019. So who will replace him?
The new CEO for LINX is an internal hire: Kurtis Lindqvist, who is currently CMO will assume the role of CEO from mid-September onwards, allowing for several months of transition.
Kurtis joined LINX in 2016 as Chief Marketing Officer after a previous stint as CEO of Swedish provider NetNod. He has over 20 years experience in various aspects of the internet industry and is the author of several RFCs as well as having worked on various IETF issues.
