Paris, France will be the venue for a week of domain related events next May.
ICANN has chosen Paris as the venue for the ICANN GDD Industry Summit and The DNS Symposium next May.
Both the Registrations Operations Workshop and DNS OARC will also be held in the same venue that week.
It’ll be a very busy week!
- GDD Summit May 3rd – May 6th. The focus in these events is usually around the commercial and operational aspects of domains and is useful for registrars and registries.
- Registrations Operations Workshop May 6th (afternoon). This is usually quite technically focussed.
- DNS Symposium May 7th – May 8th. This is generally a mix of technology and policy.
- DNS OARC May 9th – May 10th. Super technical and really for DNS geeks.
All events are being held in the Paris Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel & Conference Center. The hotel is fairly centrally located so it’s pretty easy to get around the city from it.
The schedules for the events haven’t been finalised yet, so for now it’s more a case of flagging the event dates for people’s diaries.
