The Danish (.dk) ccTLD registry has announced that they are increasing their prices from May 2021 onwards.
The increase is from DKK 50 to DKK 60 per year (VAT included). In Euro the price increase equates to €6.72 going to €8.07.
DK Hostmaster’s rationale for the price increase is that their costs are increasing and they also want to do more with other initiatives in Denmark.
They’ve prepared some fairly detailed information on the price increase including comparisons with other ccTLD domains.
There are currently just over 1.3 million registered .dk domain names.
