ICANN has published the full schedule for the upcoming public meeting to be held in Kigali, Rwanda.
As they’ve been doing for the last few years, there will be a pre-meeting “prep week” which is aimed at bringing people up to speed on some of the more recent activity. For this meeting that will be held online from May 28th to the 30th.
The actual meeting proper will take place both in person and online from June 10th to 13th.
You can check the schedule here.
NB: registration for “in person” attendance closes on June 7th.
If you’re planning on attending the event in person the official site has plenty of information on hotels and other practical information.
I won’t be attending the meeting in person this time and I suspect that quite a few people will be attending online only. For those of us on the more “commercial” side of the house the first half of the year has had multiple options for “in person” meetings, with the ICANN meeting in Puerto Rico, Cloudfest in Germany, the recent ICANN CPH meeting in Paris and the upcoming Namescon in Austin.
Of course a “small” ICANN meeting these days is still quite a large event!
