The New Zealand domain name registry will be launching domain registrations directly under .nz at the end of September. From 1pm on 30 September 2014 it will be possible to register .nz domains. Domain name registrations directly under .uk launch tomorrow morning at 0800 London / Dublin time. Nominet, the .uk registry, have put in place a "grandfathering" system to decide who has the right to register a .uk domain name.
